The latest in ATB Morton’s turnkey service providing Land & Build packages. This distinct dual tenant refrigerated warehouse and ice production and storage facility is another design and construction project delivered by ATB Morton. Assisting with land feasibility and early design development right through to all building approvals and detailed construction documentation, this facility is an example of the ATB advantage of leveraging our internal design team to create a tailor-made facility to suit our clients and their tenants requirements.

Featuring a common cross dock arrangement serviced from a shared sunken loading dock, this facility enables both tenants to operate to their potential and reap the benefits of a brand new custom designed building.

The development features large communal hardstand pavement for efficient truck manoeuvring and parking onsite. The sunken loading dock is sheltered by a large cantilevered awning providing weather protection to the perimeter walling.

The engineering design for this facility addressed challenges with the fire rated tilt panel walls and combined them with a conventional steel portal frame to deliver a compact structural footprint to enable the absolute maximisation of the available building area for three large scale freezers, two dry stores, common cross dock and specialised ice production and packing areas.

A large open span design has allowed the ultimate flexibility in creating the dual tenancy site. A dedicated rear wash bay is included with trade waste system to enable the tenants to clean and detail all heavy vehicles in an enclosed environment.

This facility is another example of the ATB Morton Group leveraging its assets and divisions across precast panels, structural steel, ready mixed concrete and civil precast products to deliver a custom designed facility for our clients.
