Project Description
ATB Morton recently completed the design and construction of new office alterations & additions, new hardstand and new wash bay & refuelling facilities for JJ’s Waste at Tomago.
The project called for the design and construction of new free standing refuelling awning and bunded space to enable dual refuelling to occur under cover and in a bunded environment. The wash bay addition provided a lean-to skillion roof addition to deliver drive-through wash bay capabilities for plant, equipment and bins. The new hardstand has resulted in a true dual street frontage for the onsite operations to utilise dedicated one way traffic routes ensuring safe and efficient on site traffic flows for heavy and light vehicle users. The completed office alterations and additions within the existing building envelope delivered additional modern office space for the growing team to utilise. This included new ground floor office space, renovated first floor areas and expansion of the office across previously under utilised mezzanine areas.
ATB Morton worked hand in hand with onsite staff to ensure that on site operations were maintained throughout the construction works with no loss of site access or any temporary business relocation required.
The final facility has created greater onsite utilisation of previous building space and expanded the external storage, access and circulation while adding key new capabilities to be leveraged by the JJ’s Waste team.
