Project Description
ATB Morton was engaged to complete the design and construction of the next stage of the Leogate Estate Wines vineyard expansion. Located at the foothills of the Brokenback Mountain range the Leogate Estate Winery expansion required the design and construction of an insulated warehouse facility with open loadout awning & small auxiliary office. The new facilities were designed to be nestled within the surrounding vegetation to ensure the picturesque landscape is maintained in this tourism destination of the Hunter. Drawing from passive solar design principles the project was designed to include the use of a precast concrete panel wall as thermal mass to help regulate the internal temperature of the warehouse area.
