ATB Morton is delighted to have secured the next stage of construction works for the expansion of Polypipe’s existing pipe production facility at Toronto. Scheduled for commencement in late 2023, this facility represents a further commitment by Polypipe in local manufacturing using new cutting edge plant and equipment to deliver state of the art products to the NSW and National civil supply chain.
The project consists of the design and construction of the final stages of the sites expansion works resulting in a new modern office facility teamed with expanded production capabilities. The new factory will enable further investment in the upgraded production plant and increased product ranges to suit the expanding market for civil infrastructure piping. The facility will consist of a range of overhead cranes designed to operate under dual synchronised lifts across 3 crane bays. The factory will include reticulate services tailored to the production plant and equipment. Extensive hardstand area will be developed to house the expanded product range and reduce wait times for this key product for everything from road network expansion to residential and industrial subdivisions.
