ATB Morton has been engaged by Southlink Mackay to develop a series of new industrial developments within this recently commenced industrial subdivision at Bakers Creek, Mackay. This new subdivision represents a new industrial land release within close proximity to Mackay’s thriving centre of Paget. Surrounded by a mixture of major highways, arterial roads and the great northern railway line this represents the next significant growth centre for Mackay’s expanding industrial operations.
Attracting interest from both large and small corporations and businesses, ATB Morton is thrilled to be participating in this modern industrial development. The initial project consists of a new warehouse and office on Lot 6 fronting Logistics Drive. The site includes a wide and deep site with ample room for warehouse, workshop and even additional rear yard areas. Benefiting from a wraparound driveway and drive-through bays on both sides of the facility, this design represents a flexible facility ready for an array of users. This project is tailored to our clients needs of demonstrating the new level of quality that is at the forefront of Southlinks plans for this new estate. ATB’s design team has worked with the Southlink developers to help set a benchmark of affordability and modern industrial facility ready for its first tenant. ATB’s design approach and willingness to assist and modify the design as required was one of the desirable selling points for our client and will be utilised again once the facilities first tenant is secured and the facility is tailored to their specific needs.
Featuring a simple but modern design this facility will be the first to be launched in the Southlink Mackay Estate in 2022.
